O’Brien

A member of Co. F for a number of years, Pfc. O’Brien a member of the famed 77th Division was killed on Leyte Island in the Philippines on 14 December 1945. A graduate of St. Mary’s School and attended Medina High School, he held the Expert Infantryman’s Badge and Combat Infantryman’s Badge which was awarded for the invasion of Guam. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart posthumously.
